“Thank you for helping me find my smile again. I am so happy to appreciate the sounds of everyday world such as: water going down the drain, storm doors banging in the wind, and noisy bathroom exhaust fan.
Thank you for giving me your morning to help solve my problem. You made me feel worth your time.”
“Listening to music, television and radio has become enjoyable again. Conversation at the dining table, both at home and in restaurants, has been greatly improved.”

“My hearing aids make it possible to hear a church service, musical performance, or dinner theater, and to appreciate my grandchildren’s conversations.”
“I never realized how much I was missing. My hearing aids have become my #1 companion.”
“You have taken a personal interest in my hearing problem. Seeing that I have hearing aids that suit my loss, comfortable ear molds, and periodic check-ups helps me to hear the best I can and I thank you so much for all you have done for me.”
“Dr. Terry’s recommendations of hearing aids have made it possible for me to function as though I do not have a hearing loss. She has always been supportive, responsive and encouraging if I’ve had a problem and solved whatever difficulty in a timely manner. She is efficient and a truly good person.”

“I love my new hearing aids! I can’t believe the difference! I can say “I can hear that” instead of “what did you say?” It didn’t take long to get used to them. They’re so light and comfortable I hardly notice them.”
“My mother has been my number one patient since I was in graduate school over thirty years ago. I started evaluating her to gain experience while I was at Florida State University. When she was sixty, I fit her with her first pair of hearing aids. She felt that she wasn’t hearing well and by the age of sixty she really needed a little “boost”. Her hearing loss was affecting her ability to communicate with people on a daily basis.
That was over twenty years ago. She has had several pairs of hearing devices over the years and I have often used her to experiment with new technology. She has done very well with her hearing devices over the years and she would be the first person to tell you how they have improved her quality of life. It has also made it much easier for my family to communicate with her, making family relations much better.
I can’t imagine how much poorer her quality of life would have been without her hearing devices. I am so glad that I was able to help her.
I am constantly seeing new patients who have put off getting their hearing evaluated or being fit with hearing aids for years. It is so sad to see. Their quality of life could have been so much better (sometimes for years)! Hearing aids are not those horrible huge things that you used to see hanging on ears. And the new ones don’t whistle all the time either! They are tiny, discreet, little computers that can do wonderful things. The key is to be fit with appropriate quality devices and ongoing care by a qualified doctor of audiology, not some “hearing aid specialist” with 6 months of basic training.
As an audiologist with over thirty years experience, I have built my practice on quality of care, not gimmicks. Everyone deserves to hear the best they can. I look forward to helping you improve your quality of life!”
